Tie-dying as a grown-up is just as fun as you remember from your childhood! And it's a fun project to share with friends and family at home too.  Let MAKEatx teach you all the basics of tie-dying in this apron-tie-dying extravaganza!  

In this Shop Talk, Kristen & Eve will teach you how to jazz up an apron with the tie-dying techniques and colors of your choice.  Folding techniques demonstrated will include: stripes, spirals, rosettes, circles, ovals, hearts, pleats, and mandalas.  Mandalas are our favorite!  We'll have a slew of colors, and we'll have some samples so that you can get a feel for what sorts of final results you can expect using many of these techniques. 

We will provide all the materials including the apron.  Wearing some less valuable clothing (that could use a splatter of ink here or there) is highly recommended.  For those of you who are coming straight from work, bring a change of clothing or live on the wild side and strap on a plastic apron!  

We'll be offering music and refreshments, and we look forward to seeing this fun-loving crowd at our shop once again.  Join us as we roll up our sleeves and get in touch with our inner hippy...or child...or hippy child.
